The transitions between soft, outward-reaching forms and hard, resolute surfaces reflect the tension inherent in the unconscious, while revealing the fragile boundaries between repressed desires and the forms through which they surface. Mental sequences and absurd encounters that may initially appear without cause offer glimpses into the workings of the unconscious, opening the door to a surreal world. Drawing on personal experience and the fragmented nature of memory, these images ultimately move beyond the boundaries of the individual to form a collective field of association.
